All players must report to Daily Registration at least 30 minutes before the allocated tee-off time. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure
that they report to the tee-box starters at least 10 minutes before their tee-off time. Players will tee-off on time and NOT wait for anyone who
may be late. If those present have teed-off and left the tee-box, the “late” players will only be allowed to join their 4-ball at the next tee to be
played.
Speed of play is an essential aspect of an enjoyable tournament. There will be 8 minute tee-off intervals; 12 ball spotters; 2-on-course
Marshals; a grab-n-go” halfway and carefully planned pace of play should achieve this objective. (Ready Golf MUST be applied at all times)
The NOMADS rule of “Only a player and his caddie may search for a ball” will be strictly enforced. The Captain of each 4-ball must ensure
that his 4-ball keeps up with the 4-ball ahead. Please co-operate with the Course Marshals if they believe you’re falling behind.
The Ball spotters have been allocated to certain holes to point out where the player’s ball is. The ball spotter cannot be held responsible for
incorrect information or failing to mark the position. A GREEN flag will indicate that the spotter is able to find the ball or has seen where the
ball crossed the margin of a water hazard, whereas a RED flag will indicate being out of bounds or in the “bush” where the likelihood of
finding the ball is slim. The same flags will be used to indicate whether the 4 ball ahead is out of range – GREEN is a GO and RED is WAIT
READY GOLF is to be practised – GOLF CART drivers must use common sense and should drop off his “passenger” and then go to his ball.
The “call up” rule is to be used on all short holes. Although some of the par-5 holes are reachable to long hitters, we should ask that those
players not going for the green play first – these are NOT call up holes.
All course distance markers are to the MIDDLE of the green. Measuring devices may be used for distances and pin sheets will be available at
daily registration.
GOLF CARTS
Carts may not be driven within 15 metres of a green
NO Golf Cart is to be taken away from the course or Club House area
The turnaround of morning carts for the afternoon field is critical. Please return your cart to the Cart area immediately after the
completion of your morning round.
Please respect the Golf Cart Supervisor and only take the cart with your name on it AND when your cart partner has arrived. Late
arrivals will have to walk to their respective tee or “catch-up” hole.
HANDICAP ALTERATIONS MAY ONLY BE DONE BY AND AT SCORE CONTROL.
Any adjustment to your handicap during the Tournament is based on your starting handicap
